Alpha Quality Inspections, LLC performs Radon Inspections for residential dwellings
following the EPA protocols for short-term real estate radon measurement.  These tests
requires “closed house conditions” for 12 hours before placement of the test devices and
then for a from 48 hours minimum to 4 days maximum before devises are retrieved.
Results of the test are usually available the same day as retrieval and are called &/or
emailed to you and your Agent.

Once you have the results, you will be able take a course of action that is informed and on-
purpose.

Remember:
1. Radon is an important possible health concern.
2. It can be tested for.  In fact, testing is the ONLY way to know if there are elevated levels of
radon in a home.  (Maps won’t tell you, your neighbors are not a reliable indicator, it is
invisible, odorless, you cannot feel it in any way…)
3. Radon reduction systems are a permanent asset to your home.  They work very well
when properly installed and maintenance is usually just replacing the motor once every 11
years!  If they are properly installed, it is very likely that you will never even hear it working!
The motor usually uses the electricity of a light bulb, yet it is performing a far more
important job than any light bulb could.
